Took a taxi to Southern Bus Terminal and express bus to the Dameon Saduak floating market. This time, instead of taking the motor boat, we straight away went to look for our friend, the snake uncle who runs the paddle boat service.

It's really an eye- opener. There are lots of boats!! And there is a real traffic jam. Boats knocking on each other on either sides. And we really had a feast on the boat. Had fruits, kuehs, bee hoon soup, wanton mee and kway chap. Haha.

Noga did not forget to grab the chance to have a photo taken with ang mohs. Wat’s up with him and the ang mohs?!

After that, we visited the snake. Think it’s grown bigger since the last time I saw him last year. Both Noga and baby had a hard time trying to carry it.

Walked back to take the yellow bus to Bang Pae and took another bus to Kanchanaburi. Our target is the Bridge over River Kwai and the Tiger Temple. A funny thing to mention at the bus terminal is that you have to change into the slippers before going into the public toilet. Haha. So cute. The whole journey took about 2.5 hours and we slept like mad on the bus. Was disappointed when we got to know that the tiger temple is closed. Went all the way there. :( but at least there’s still a baby tiger taken out for an outing from the Safari Park.

so we went to the Bridge over River Kwai, where it’s part of the Death Railway built during WWII by the POWs.

There’re only 3 train services daily, lucky that we happened to bump into one

train approaching it's nearing!

There’s only a narrow metal pathway in the center. So it happens if someone’s coming thru from the opposite direction, you gotta step aside onto the old wooden plank path on the sides. Believe me, you wouldn’t like to look down.
